I have designed my theme for 1024 x 768 resolution.



It looks good.
But in some computers 1024 x 768 resolution is not available. I don't know why.. So other bigger resolution is selected although I have set fixed 1024 x 768 in ventoy.json.

On Aomei Partition Assistant, I can create a Windows To Go based on my current Windows system. I can then use a LinuxOS > Gnome Disks to create a disk image .IMG file from the WinToGo. Then I put that .IMG file into a Ventoy, but it does not fully boot. I have made my Ventoy a NTFS, not an exFat, which helped it boot farther, but it does not fully boot, even if I use it on the same PC that I created the WinToGo on.

There are many ways to make a WintoGo, I am only asking about how to use Ventoy to boot a WintoGo that has been created specifically by Aomei Partition Assistant. Thank you.

Hello forum,

had to remove/delete (wiht the filemanger of the OS under Linux) a corrupt ISO. Afterwards I copied the ISO again to the Ventoy stick
 
But now "(Linuxmint-20.3-cinnamon-64bit.iso" is listed twice in the list of the ISO's.....


How can one of those entries be removed?

I formatted a stick with Ventoy 1.0.84 and inserted three iso files into it.

I tried booting from a computer with the UEFI but the message "Verification failed: (0X1A) Security violation" is displayed.

How come?

Флешка с Ventoy не грузится с отключенной CSM в UEFI
Всем приветики. Помогите советом.
Сделал флешку с утилитой Ventoy 1.0.84 ( пробовал и версии 1.0.76, 1.0.82)
У меня 6 компов и ноутов.
Везде есть UEFI.
Проблемма, когда отключён CMS в UEFI!!!!!
НЕ ГРУЗИТСЯ флэшка с Ventoy.
ПИШЕТ, Не удалось загрузить изображение! Нарушена политика безопасности
На платах ASUS , где есть UEFI c CSM (отключён), никак не хочет грузится Ventoy.
Не с GPP не с MBR. Если поставить птичку Support Secure Boot в проге Ventoy, то на экран выводится маленькое окошко с MOK, пробую запиcать в меню ключи или хэш, но ничего не пишется.
Ничего не происходит. Через какое-то время выбрасывает обратно в БИОС.
Если же включена CMS (поддержка старого BIOS), но UEFI не отключается, тогда всё нормально грузится.
На этих платах в UEFI нет строк Secure Boot, т.е. нельзя Secure Boot включить или открыть.

А вот на ноутбуках Lenovo, HP, Samsung, и неттопах ASUS, в UEFI нет такой утилиты CSM в UEFI.
Зато тут есть Безопасная загрузка.
И при включенной Secure Boot, при загрузке флешки выводится большое синее окно, из МОК меню, далее записываем в UIFI ключи или ХЭШ, и всё. Это делается один раз на одном компьютере.
В дальнейшем Ventoy грузится сразу же.

Если же Secure Boot выключить, то и ключи не нужно записывать в UEFI даже при загрузке с флэшки первый раз.
Проблема только на платах ASUS, когда отключён CMS в UEFI .
Конечно, каждый раз, когда загружаешь флэшку, например, с Acronis, можно зайти в БИОС и включить CSM, но наверняка есть какие-то другие пути????????? Без изменений БИОС!!!

I own a Gigabyte Z790 AERO G + CPU Intel i7 13700k with 2x16Gb 6000MHz Kingston/Hynix Fury Renegade DDR5.

When I boot on Ventoy USB key, I see the menu (ISO files), I can choose one then select normal or wim mode boot.

At the moment, the pc hangs, (on the screen, no change). 

The only way, to resolve this, is to press reset button.

Could you help me, please?

Note: With Rufus, I made a bootable usb key (with the iso file) and Windows is installed.

I am a noobi linux user. I started using ventoy to try different distros of linux.
I successfully used ventoy with my usb drives except one usb drive.
After install installing ventoy and putting iso on usb drive, usb shows only 8 mb space out of 16gb.
I am not able to access the other partiton as it is not visible.

Could anyone explain what could have happened and how to resolve the issue?

I make partition images in Ubuntu KK. If I save these images as .iso, Ventoy boots them just fine, however, if I save them as .img, Ventoy refuses to boot them. What am I doing wrong? I though Ventoy was supposed to boot .img files, was it not?
