Is it possible to change the color and font in the menu header (theme.txt) ? Or just the font color.

When I boot Ventoy  from USB on Acer Asper TC-281 I get 1. Linspire Light and 2. lubuntu.
2. lubuntu is my hard drive.

1. doesn't boot and I'm guessing it is Ventoy?

I use persistence on Linux Mint 21 with a 512 MB persistence dat file, but I get some warning from the system about memory as 5 MB left warning, or less, and I don't understand what it means, is this related to the persistence dat file size too low ?
If yes, how can I use all 512 MB ? though I delete thumbnails cache, browser cache, journals etc all that ca be involved
If no, how can I check the place left in the persistence dat file ?

By using the Ventoy Extended menu (F6), we can boot to pmagic_2022_09_04.iso with Live boot and Save (persistence).

After update v 1.0.81 from 1.0.80, this error warning appear at boot, still boot Ventoy normaly, i checked ventoy.json but dont know how to solved it?

Hello to all of you, I have an BIG problem.

Ventoy simply don't work on my old PC computer, with Z97 chipset. Motherboard is this one from thread main title.

It shows all meny, but, when it starts to load any ISO file, it reboots itself ? Means, computer reboots always. No matter which ISO file I tried.

I tried ansolutely everything, even to boot it from USB 2.0 port, instead USB 3.0...nothing helps !

Can somebody try to check what is the problem here ?


On my laptop from 2017, Lenovo Ideapad 110-IBK, I don't have such problem.

Which markup should I choose correctly when creating a usb ventoy, MBR or GPT? How does this affect the download or installation ?

Tell me, is it possible to change the inscription: "1.0.80 BIOS www.ventoy.net " in the boot menu.
I want that instead of this label, the BIOS label is displayed if I booted in BIOS mode, and the UEFI label is displayed if I booted in UEFI mode.
Or it may be possible to add such a line.

If this is not possible, then it may be possible to make wallpaper number 1 (or theme number 1) appear when booting in BIOS mode, and wallpaper number 2 (or theme number 2) appear when booting in UEFI mode.
