We ship USB images all over the world and need to ensure that the installers have not corrupted the installation ISO.

Is there a way to either encrypt or write protect Part 1?

When installing ISO by VENTOY, the virtual resource is HD0.
I will need it to be CD.
Is there a way to do this?

so I created a custom wim file of win 10 and syspreped it. I would like to try it with a answer file without image manger  ...... but how?

Is it possible to modify a CSM (legacy) bootable iso to a UEFI or CSM and UEFI bootable ISO for use with Ventoy?

If yes where can i find detailed instructions for the same?

Prior to finding your tool I discovered this tutorial on how to make a recovery USB for Windows 7 and it worked flawlessly. I would like to use the same method in Ventoy in order to have both the Windows 7 Recovery environment and my other ISOs on the same USB flash drive. However I don't seem to find a way to do it.

• The created ISO appears as unbootable and doesn't start at all
  
• I tried creating a folder and pasting the original files there, then use the wimboot plugin, but while it did find boot.wim, Windows told me that it was unable to load any system file (although on my other USB everything went fine).

First of all, I'd like to thank all people involved with this project/forum for your hard work and dedication. I'm new user, made a USB stick in Linux with Windows 8.1 and MX Linux ISO, no problem preparing the USB, but when I tried to run it, Linux ran OK, but Windows gave me an error:

FORGET everything, I was thinking it was harder to change than it was. It's a really simple yet using the guid as part of it cleverly confusing.

If I go to big with the array size ( added about 7 bytes  is that  whats braking the booting of the ISOs? OR Compile-assert was complaining  so I altered that I will put that back to a -1 ,


I know I figured out how to change the data in the guid yet adding a few characters has crashed the program.   
UPDATE :
I figuring it out. This is a really fun puzzle I Made it harder, it was simple.
Its all about being able to remove the www.ventoy.net and other texted. Or changing it. Nice Puzzle!
Its not hard to find lol.

I was trying to change the GUID because that contains the web link , why didn't I realize that was going to cause trouble, thats limited to 16 bytes.
