From your IP range i guess you got a Fritz!Box!?
Whats your configuration? do you use internal or external in iVentoy configuration? do you use the DHCP of your router? does it work on other devices in your LAN? any logfiles? The normal way is to connect the two devices directly and using the internal DHCP from iVentoy to assign the IP, next-server and filename to boot The unconvetial way (which works for me) is to use the DHCP of your router and explain him DHCP options 66='iVentoy-server-name or IP' or IP 67='bootfile-name' and 150='iVentoy IP' while iVentoy DHCP reassigns IP from within Range and boots the menu. (problem after booting OS you get IP from iVentoy not from router, unti you shutdown iVentoy) The best way is to completely let your Router do it's stuff and disable iVentoy DHCP (external option) but does not work for me. Hope yo ucan give some more info and i could clear some things i encountered. |
