现在设置启动菜单超时时间后是在等待一定时间后自动进入特定系统,对于常用主系统,偶尔用用其它系统的这个等待时间颇为影响启动速度,能否改成启动时检测某个键是否被按着,是则显示菜单,否则不显示菜单直接进入主系统

Let's say i have an iso that is NOT compatible with Ventoy. So i burn this to a DVD media and check that it boots on my windows laptop.  Then i rip/pull the image from the DVD media in iso format.  Should this iso have a greater or full chance of NOW booting from within  Ventoy?

Ventory 1.0.74 legacy boot linux vdisk(vhd) lead to black screen.  but win10 vdisk(vhd) boot success.

So I rollback to 1.0.73 boot success both win10 and linux.

I believe I've followed the directions for the install correctly. I have a 120GB SSD I put into an external enclosure. I ran Ventoy2disk to install it on the SSD and I copied a couple ISOs to the open partition. I tried a laptop with Secure boot on and off and the computer doesn't detect the drive. I had a 4GB USB stick spare and installed Ventoy and it boots fine.

Is this just an issue with the computer not detecting my SSD in the external cage or am I missing a setting on the install to the SSD? Thank you for your assistance!

i have recently installed ventoy on my usb flash drive (kingston datatraveler 100 g3/64gb). anytime i try moving a win10 or win11 iso to the drive, it fails and displays an error: "files has properties that cannot be copied to the new location". i tried looking up a fix, but it seems like no one else has the same issue. any ideas? thank you.

I have 3 USB harddisk duplicates from 3 different hardware systems I am using a school pc to do some work by plugging the USB harddisk in the school pc 
I would like to make ((vhd)) or ((vhdx)) in one SSD USB instead of 3 USB harddisk.
vhd1-win XP
vhd2-win10
vhd3-win 7

A problem that was solved in Ventoy v1.0.67 (https://forums.ventoy.net/showthread.php...stemRescue)
seems to be back in Ventoy v1.0.74, even in the latest CI #776.

I'm unable to boot System Rescue v9.02 64-bit ISO image in secureboot mode from a clean Ventoy USB drive with no plugins. (ISO is located in root folder)
When I select the "systemrescue-9.02-amd64.iso" file from the Ventoy menu, I get the Grub 2 menu:

Then I select option, "Boot SystemRescue using the default options".
The screen clears and displays the message in the attached "DefaultOptions_Response" image:
"error: shim_lock protocol not found.
Press any key to continue..."

Also, if I select "Power Off" option in Grub menu, I get this message:
"error: verification requested but nobody cares: /boot/grub/x86_64-efi/halt.mod.
Press any key to continue..."
(please see attached "PowerOff Msg" image)

If I use the Ctrl-I mode before selecting the "systemrescue-9.02-amd64.iso" file from the Ventoy menu,
I get the message in the attached "CompatMode_CTRL-I" image.

This issue may be related to a problem that was recently corrected in Super-UEFIinSecureBoot-Disk.

Hello, I'm fairly new to Ventoy so I might just be doing something wrong... I'm attempting to install Windows 10 on a laptop of mine but I get some weird issues.

I have the flashdrive formatted using Ventoy with MBR partition style.

The laptop's bios being set to UEFI allows the installation to work without issues, But if I attempt to install using BIOS it will allow me to select it in Ventoy's menu, It will finish the "Loading files..." option but as soon as it's done it will provide a black box that appears over the Ventoy menu and will stay there forever, it will then flash the entire screen black ones and go back to the black box over the ventoy menu.

I read some forum posts and was recommended to enable Wimboot mode and this provides a different issue, It proceeds through the installation like normal but upon selecting a Drive to install windows on and pressing "Next" it tells me "We couldn't create a new partition or locate an existing one. For more information, see the Setup log files." and won't let me select the drive.

I was also recommended to enable comparability mode, upon hitting "Install" it tells me "A media driver your computer needs is missing. This could be a DVD, USB, or Hard disk driver. If you have the CD, DVD, or USB flash drive with the driver on it, please insert it now." And hitting "Browse" I can't seem to find any drivers anywhere so this method also fails for me.

Any help would be nice I'm wanting to create a ventoy USB that I can use on virtually any system to install Windows 10, be it UEFI or BIOS, laptop or desktop, Old or new, etc.

Ever since I updated to version 1.0.74 I usually get this error "A media driver your computer needs is missing. This could be a DVD , USB or HARD DISK driver.." when installing windows 10/11 on newer PCs.. I have this error on 2 6thgen, 1 8thgen and 9thgen PCs and don't get them on older generation Pc.. but I never had this error with previous version 1.0.57.
Can someone confirm this and how to go about it.

Is it possible to use the $OEM$ folder or SetupComplete.cmd script in the AutoInstall (Windows ISO) plugin with Unattended.xml or otherwise?

I've tried all the ways I found on the forum and it still didn't work.

Can anyone help me?
