Ventoy Persistence-Modus for an IMG-File?
#1
Hello,

I have a "IMG" - File (Tails.img/Linux) https://tails.boum.org/install/linux/index.de.html
And I will add a persistence - modus on my usb-stick!
I have the version (1.0.79).

What have I to do?

Kind regards

Hello,

when I boot the "IMG"-File I get the following message:

"Device has not enough unallocated space"

I think that the persistence feature requires unused space on the drive so it can create a persistence partition.
You could try remaking the USB drive so that you reserve some free space at the end of the drive using the Options setting?

But when I select the option "Creat Persistence", nothing happens?
Can you help me?

I think Tails may require it to be installed on a drive. Persistence is probably not supported as a Live CD and booting from ISO.

Hi,

I have installed "Tails" in a virtual-machine (Virt-Manager/LInux).
When I select "USB" - Drive it works (see figures).
But when I start from "USB"- Stick, I can boot but I can not select it :-(

Kind regards
Werner

Sorry for my bad English
