is the Ventoy-stick used as swap (per default)?
#1
Hello forum,

is he Ventoy-stick strictly read-only (r/o), or could it happen, that a booted Linux-ISO does user the stick as Swap-device, or that it does write other things to the stick?

Thank's in advance!

Or does this depend entirely on the OS?

a USB disk is a USB disk
It is probably rd/wr like most USB disks!
If you boot to Linux from Ventoy, Ventoy may make Partition 1 inaccessible.
You can work around this using VTOY_LINUX_REMOUNT 0 https://ventoy.net/en/plugin_control.html
Maybe you can explain the problem rather than us having to guess what your problem is?
