A no valid partition error might be because your disk was previously a GPT disk. You may need to use diskpart to clean it and convert mbr
win 7 may not contain USB drivers. You may need to find an ISO with added USB drivers.
As for the vista being unsupported, I just wanted to check if it's really not going to work. Let's focus on the w7 ISO now.
Any ideas?
