 Boot from ISO
#7
Does the disk on which the program is installed have to be completely empty and formatted?

Is it possible to put the ISO file in its original format or must it be extracted?
Code:
DISKPART> list disk

Disk ###  Status         Size     Free     Dyn  Gpt
  --------  -------------  -------  -------  ---  ---
  Disk 0    Online          465 GB  2048 KB
Code:
PS C:\Users\HP> get-physicaldisk | format-table deviceID,mediatype

deviceID MediaType
-------- ---------
0        HDD

'Does the program allow booting from an ISO file located on a hard disk partition?'

However, you can install Ventoy on an internal or external hard disk if you wish.
Then boot to the internal Ventoy Hard disk using the BIOS Boot Selection Menu feature (e.g. F8 or F11 or ESC - depends on BIOS).
Can the program then find the system iso image file and then boot? This is my main question
The English language may be bad Please try to understand me as much as possible
