Keyboard layout

Maybe I can add an option in Global Control Plugin to set  the default keyboard layout.

This would be a definite usability improvement, IMHO. Thanks.

I am interested in the final configuration of the keyboard.
What do I have to do or how do I modify a configuration file to always have the French keyboard?
