"shim_lock protocol not found" when booting Ubuntu VHD
#1
Hi - I am trying to get a Ubuntu 24.04 LTS VHD to boot in Ventoy.

If I have Secure Boot disabled, the Ubuntu VHD boots fine. However, if I enable Secure Boot, I get a fatal "shim_lock protocol not found" when Ubuntu starts up.

I believe that I followed the Ventoy Linux VHD Plugin instructions, but maybe I missed something. Is there a way to get the Ubuntu VHD to boot properly when Secure Boot is enabled?

Thanks,

AzJazz

UPDATE: I think I found a workable solution. Apparently, setting "VTOY_LINUX_REMOUNT = 1" will bypass the Secure Boot check, and allow the Ubuntu VHD to boot properly.
