Mount VHD and boot off ISO
#1
Hi All

Is it possible to mount a virtual hard drive and then boot from a DVD ISO?
For example, loading windows. I need the VHD mounted as the drive windows is being installed onto, and I want to boot off the windows DVD ISO to run the set-up.

at that point wouldn't you be better off just installing hyper-v or something and doing it that way? your way seems a lot of stress for what's essentially creating a virtual machine.
