We ship USB images all over the world and need to ensure that the installers have not corrupted the installation ISO.
Is there a way to either encrypt or write protect Part 1?

encrypt is not supported.
For write protect, there is no good software solution. I suggest you buy an USB stcik which has a hardware protect switch.

I just discovered PAR2, the default setting could be used to verifiy and even repair the ISO, wouldn't be to hard to automatically setup execution. The source files are really small and I don't see why this isn't an option yet on these usb devices.
I Recommend PAR2 be an addition to this Ventoy.
The benefits would be data integrity with recovery, how much recovery could be set by the user.
