Recommend to use VentoyPlugson to automatically generate ventoy.json to avoid problem.

I copied the example on https://www.ventoy.net/en/plugin_persistence.html where iso is in capitals.
To prevent users going wrong it is better to change the example all lowercase.

It depends on the actual directory name. In my Ventoy USB I put all the ISO files in ISO directory. So the example is right for me.

That's what I've done and tested.

I want to use kali persistence.
I wrote ventoy.json like you, but there are no meau like "boot with persistence" or "boot without persistence" when I click kali.It will enter the selection menu of kali.I dont konw why.

Cant guess or see what you have done from my house!
Maybe you can add screenshot of ventoyplugson persistence browser page with Kali ISO and persistence file listed?
