 VHD support
#2
I differ, I think that having features separate as plugins brings modularity to Ventoy and makes it more powerful and easy to customize.

Plugins seem to be just .img disk images with scattered files inside them. Maybe you can merge a couple together and try to boot VHD from different Windows versions.

AFAIK, VHD shouldn't work for Linux installs, as the plugin looks for some file located at C:\Windows\ directory. VDI is the way to go, but unfortunately it only works with fixed size disks and there aren't tools for managing them other than VirtualBox.

I've been daily driving a Suface-like tablet device using Ventoy and dynamic VHDs for a year. I'm still testing many configurations and doing stupid things , but at some point, Windows10 messes up with the boot somehow and causes next boot to loop & fail. Guides state that fixed VHD should work fine, but I can agree it's not practical at all to have many 200GB+ images stored your disk.
