Installed it on win10.vhdx with winntsetup and booted successfully with ventoy. Maybe you did not do it right, so when booting win10.vhdx it failed, right successfully install win10.vhdx on your real computer or virtual machine like qemu, vmware, virtualbox...then bootable with ventoy

For security and privacy reasons I don't prefer to use third party or not-open-source (more clearly: not-community-based) OS or apps.

I already created the vmdx file via qemu. I install Windows 2 times (maybe something from happened on installation). I also checked microsoft-windows-ISO's SHA1 in any case.

I also tried this: I created another new virtual-machine via virt-manager's GUI. I started/booted this new virtual-machine with my old vmdx file. And it started without any error. But the same vmdx file is not opening via Ventoy.
