For Ventoy and Linux here is my solution:
Most Linux distributions are “Live” versions, so they work without installation.
Some of them support persistance.
For those versions, you can put as many different Linux “Live” ISOs as you want on the Ventoy USB drive, you'll only be limited by the size of your storage device.

For each Linux iso, create a persistence file and associate it with the distro using Plugson.
All you have to do is boot your Ventoy USB drive, select which ISO to run from the menu, and choose to boot your Linux distro using the linked persistence file.
Make whatever configurations you want; everything will be saved in the persistence file.
