#1
Hello,

how can i solve my problem with ventoy usb boot?

https://forums.ventoy.net/showthread.php...12#pid8112

My release: ventoy 1.0.96
My hardware: Type: ThinkPad P16v Gen 1 AMD (Type 21FE, 21FF) Laptop, Bios Version 1.24 (UEFI BIOS)

I can start the ventoy 1.0.96 an choice clonezila, but clonezilla doesn*t start.
I'm get a black screen with a white cursor.

Easy2Boot https://easy2boot.com/ can start clonezilla with the same ThinkPad.

When testing with Easy2boot (www.easy2boot.xyz NOT www.easy2boot.com which is unofficial old cloned site) - Do you mean it works when you UEFI-boot to agFM menu or do you mean it works when you boot to legacy E2B grub4dos menu?

I'm search a solution standalone ventoy.

Easy2boot is only for testing. ventoy doesn't start with Easy2boot.

You can add E2B (legacy only) to a Ventoy USB disk. https://easy2boot.xyz/ventoy/add-easy2bo...usb-drive/
You didnt answer my question....

Do you mean it works when you UEFI-boot to agFM menu (which is included in E2B) or do you mean it works when you boot to legacy E2B grub4dos menu?

I see from your issue report that you are UEFI booting - so presumably when you say E2B works, you mean agFM works.

agFM is actually a variant of grubfm. So you can add the grubfm multiarch iso to your Ventoy USB drive and then do this
https://github.com/a1ive/grub2-filemanag...tiarch.iso

1. UEFI boot to Ventoy
2. Select and boot grubfm_multiarch.iso
3. Select and boot other ISOs

P.S. Presumably you have tried all Ventoy boot options?
