Using Ventoy for 2TB flash USB
#1
Hello all,

I want to use Ventoy to make my flash USB (2 TB) bootable but it dropped to the GRUB environment when booted by my laptop.

So, what should I do in this case?

Thank you.

Most 2TB USB flash drives are fake. Unless you paid a LOT of $$$ for it and it came from a reliable supplier, it will be a fake flash drive. Try FakeFlashTest.exe to test it?

Thank you for your response.

I read your manual and try to preserve some space with Ventoy with recommended method #1.

Now, my flash partition's structure is shown in the attached screenshot but still drops in GRUB (although I preserve 1900 GB at the end of my flash storage)!

So, what should I do ?

Thank you.

Try leave more space to make the 1st Ventoy partition only take 4GB for example.
That is preserve 1996GB (if your USB has exactly 2000GB)

EDIT: Preserve  1950GB for your USB stick.

Thank you so much.
It works for 1950 GB perfectly but I need at least 4.5 GB (because of my Linux iso file size)

So, I try 1949, 1948, 1947, 1946, and 1945 preserve sizes but unfortunately, I got the attached error!

What should I do?

Thanks again!

Your USB stick has a name:  VendorCo ProductCode, so it's almost 100% fake.
