SERGEI STRELEC 2020-09-21 WinPE 10-8 x86x64 iso works perfectly under Ventoy 1.0.21, provided :
1/ The SSTR folder is entirely copied to the root of the disk or USB key.
2/ The ISO is on the main partition.
Personally, after installing Ventoy, I prefer to convert the main partition to FAT32 (for better compatibility) without data loss. At that time, you have to modify the original ISO which is too large for a FAT32 partition. Just delete in the ISO the MInst folder which is already in SSTR at the root of the disk (for this I use UltraIso).

The two latest versions had the firadisk driver disabled in the x64 menu entry, that's why it had issues when loading programs and had no desktop icons (x32 boots fine) as confirmed by strelec himself. Check arthurpl's and Strelec's replies from here (mine aswell lol) https://sergeistrelec.ru/winpe-10-8-serg...ml#comment

"arthurpl, Are you downloading the ISO through the Grub4Dos bootloader?
I probably disabled the firadisk driver."

Update your iso with https://mega.nz/file/Ei5GxZYL#BksPPysr0X...cnfRMB5_Zc

Is it possible somehow to use Native Mode without copying SSTR folder into the root of the pendrive?

I don't know if a modification in Ventoy (maybe an update) would allow it?
