Ventoy has specific requirements.
https://ventoy.net/en/doc_disk_layout.html

Ptn1 must start at 2048
Ptn2 must start immediately after end of ptn1
Ptn2 must be VTOYEFI and must be exactly 32MB in size

Ventoy will report an error if this is not seen.

Hello Steve2926,

did you have more information / input for me?

Can i edit the startsector from my sda6?

Or what is the best way to install Ventoy 1.0.62 to sda6 and sda7?

Ventoy can not be installed to a partition of a disk.
Ventoy can only be installed to a whole disk.
That means, Ventoy will clean all exist partitions and create new partitions on the disk when install.

Hello longpanda and developer,

we don't habe any chancy to use Ventoy on a hdd with a booting Linux OS?

If i use  the super_grub2_disk_hybrid_2.04s1.iso standalone, i can boot my Ventoy-USB-HDD on my system.

If i make a Clonezilla image  from my Ventoy HDD and restor it to my Linux-OS-HDD the super_grub2_disk_hybrid_2.04s1.iso
don't find my Ventoy on the Linux-OS-HDD.

Did we have an solution?
