Preservation of Wi-Fi and power shut off settings - starrfleat - 09-05-2023 I am new to Ventoy, although a longtime Linux user. Does persistence in Ventoy preserve Wi-Fi settings and screen shut off time or its lack in the power settings? I've got about a dozen ISOs in my Ventoy USB, but even in Manjaro Wi-Fi settings are not preserved between one session and the next when I reboot. RE: Preservation of Wi-Fi and power shut off settings - Steve2926 - 09-06-2023 Most Linux ISOs are LiveCDs - they don't have persistence. You would need to set up persistence by adding a blank persistence file and then configuring Ventoy to use it with each particular ISO file. https://ventoy.net/en/plugin_persistence.html If you dont understand, watch some YouTube videos or buy an eBook. |
