How is your machine code derived? - kern - 06-25-2023 Hi, I am interested in purchasing iVentoy but I have some concerns about the machine code limit. I am a hobbyist/student so alot of of my use case is experimenting and learning therefore many of my machines OS and hardware does not persist. How is machine code derived? If its OS install based I will burn through my 5 codes too quick and might have to just keep it on my NAS only because it is my only PC that doesn't change often. If I get a code for a VM will it persist across clones to new VMs? I can handle the machine code limit if I can keep a "golden" VM backed up and redeployable. RE: How is your machine code derived? - longpanda - 06-25-2023 The machinecode is derived from the system information in the motherboard. In the latest release, I have change the free edition max client limit from 5 to 20 and pro edition machinecode for a license file from 5 to 50. |
