The above "Memtest86+ V5.31b" is intended only for Legacy BIOS.
In Legacy mode, "Memtest86+ V5.31b" works in Memdisk mode but not in normal mode.
Is it possible to get it to work in normal mode?

You can use auto memdisk plugin to automatically boot it in memdisk mode. https://www.ventoy.net/en/plugin_automemdisk.html
I think memdisk mode is enough.
